The Chutney Chicas!
So, it didn't take much convincing for Julie Prohaska, Tobie Finzel, Diana Peach, Carol Sohler, and Britt Bensen Steele to get together on behalf of the Grange to whip up some delicious Cranberry Chutney and "Sassy Sauce" to sell at the Made in Vernonia Store. It was a hit, and if you haven't tried any, head on down to the Made in Vernonia Store to get some of yours. It is truly DeeeeeLISH!

Welcome!
Welcome to the Vernonia Grange.
We are a non-profit, community organization whose roots began in the 1800's. Out of a desire to strengthen community and provide services for families, the Grange offers us a place to come together and celebrate our country way of life, re-skill our communities by teaching about gardening and preserving, and simply enjoy one another's company.
Currently, our Grange regularly hosts the Nehalem Valley Watershed Council meetings, Vernonia Jazzercise, a Devo dance class, and regular yoga classes.
We have just completed a beautiful "face-lift" for our Grange, and we can't wait to show it to you. It is beautiful, and a great place for events.
Our historic building is available for public rentals as well. For more information on renting the facility for a one-time event or ongoing use, please call Britt Bensen Steele at 503-780-4034.
